Paige is currently a pre-vet student at the University of Minnesota majoring in Wildlife Biology and minoring in Spanish and Wildlife Care & Handling. She grew up in Appleton, WI, but has fallen in love with the Twin Cities since moving here for school. Her family, including parents, little sister and two goofy & lovable Clumber spaniels Chloe and Finnegan, now reside in Traverse City, MI. Outside of school she enjoys volunteering with animals as much as possible, from volunteering weekly at the Wildlife Rehab Center in Roseville and The Raptor Center on the UMN campus to assisting UMN vet students to participate in their monthly free-clinic, VeTouch. Paige had the opportunity to intern at the Minnesota Zoo last summer, and while she has a great passion for wildlife, she always enjoys taking care of your pets here at the Edina Pet Hospital. She also currently works at the UMN’s Bell Museum of Natural History and has worked in vet clinics for the past 5 years. In any free-time she can find, Paige enjoys spending time with friends and family, enjoying the outdoors, reading, and napping.

Summer is a citizen of the Sisseton-Wahpeton Oyate on the Lake Traverse Reservation in South Dakota. She is currently a third year pre-veterinary medicine student studying Fisheries, Wildlife, and Conservation Biology and Dakota Language at the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities. Her hope is to attend the College of Veterinary Medicine at the UMN, and then upon graduating, return to her reservation in the hopes of spreading awareness and knowledge about the importance of affordable veterinary care. She hopes to have a mixed practice working with small animals, but her passions lie with wildlife and equine medicine. When Summer is not at work or at classes, she spends her time walking her dog Amity or playing with her cat Toka, and spending time with friends and family. She also enjoys to bead and travels to pow wows on free weekends.
